Dear Reader,

Basically this site is a repository for much of my writings or intellectual property found across the web, whether it be: media, news sites, other blogs, books, essays, or other endeavors I may be pursuing at any given time. I use no editors, therefore: typos of all the assorted varieties may be present at any given time, from punctuation or grammatical, to the occasional their for they’re, repeated word, missed word, misplaced or misused word, etc., etc., etc. And yes: I am, “The Comma King.”

This is not an excuse for inferred sloppiness. On the contrary, I believe that for this format “proofreading” can only go so far. I regard getting the point out quickly and relevant to the headlines of the day as far more important from a pragmatic business aspect than anything else.

But here’s the truly important part: there’s a reason it’s grown to be read (and still is) across the globe, routinely quoted, featured or reprinted in the largest media sites bar-none, across the globe to an audience of millions at any given time. That reason is: its underlying content.

Did I mention all without social media? If not, now that you know, re-read the above. Those numbers will suddenly change in weight and meaning once viewed through the proper lens.

You’ll find this site is different from most others on the web today. Some have described it as “eclectic.” Others have called it “greatly informative.” However, the term never used is: boring.

This site at any time may carry my thoughts on motivation, personal development, strategic thinking and implementation for both the corporate entity, as well as solo practitioner; along with commentary and insights pertaining to the financial markets, Wall Street, global and regional markets, which now also includes the groundbreaking MYTR Broadcast™ and much, much more. (Including the occasional rant, of course.)

My goal has always been to provide a no-nonsense resource where individuals can find relevant information or commentary that’s useful and insightful. I approach my writings and other works from a standpoint where it doesn’t matter if someone is new to the path of entrepreneurship, sales, management, self-improvement, etc. Or, is well along the journey.

Whether you’re running a Fortune 100™ global conglomerate or own a tattoo parlor, there will be some form of insight you can take away and put to use in your daily life either for personal or business. Again, my goal is to help provide some clarity for anyone who’s truly looking for informative, actionable insights to many of today’s business challenges. Rather than the same old, same old trite.

I am quoted as stating: “Properly articulated, actionable advice has no boundary.” That’s not just some catchphrase; it’s a belief. Doesn’t matter if it’s something I say or someone else. If you can’t understand it, apply it, or make any sense of it? It’s useless. Period.

Many speakers or writers today, whether they be in the motivational or other genres, are no more than what I refer to as “Snake Oil” salespeople. It’s sad, but true. Personally, I simply refuse to fill these pages with any pie-in-the-sky type thinking that can be more damaging to individuals than if they did nothing at all. If you feel what you need is some form of rah, rah, rah writings, or speeches for motivation – then may I suggest a double espresso. I’ll contend it will have about the same lasting effects as the “Snake Oil” hawkers, but at least the investment won’t break the bank.

One of the great challenges facing many today is in the quest for actionable answers or insights regarding uncertainties. For the consequences in how you deal with any answers may be profound, or just superficial. Knowing the difference between the two as to use or avoid should be your greatest motivator in seeking clarity.

Unlike others, I have considerable hands-on knowledge gained via experience, as well as a documented track record in many spheres of business. Personally, I’ve achieved many of the brass-ring styled trophies across different segments of business and life – more than once.

This gives me both the perspective along with the ability to express what I believe will help others. Unlike the many out there who’ve only read someone’s book, about what they read in someone else’s book, and now wrote a book, so that you can now buy their book – to read – what they’ve read.

Remember: The responsibility for your life begins and ends with you. As with anything in life, understand, it is up to you, and you alone, to fact check or verify any information published, no matter the source. (Even if it’s me!) Never take anyone’s word that something works or will not. If it feels like you’re doing something wrong or something risky, you probably are. Always use common sense. It’s your life to live, treat it as such.

We still like to think that people don’t need to be told right from wrong or, that some “fine print” will stop them from understanding responsibility begins with their own actions, first.
