Show Update

After working on different aspects of both the show and website over the past week, I was set to begin once again this week. However, after what transpired in Brazil’s election, I decided it was better for the direction of the show to simply wait. Why you ask?

Great question, here’s my take…

Regardless of what side of the political aisle you may consider yourself in the world of politics, one thing is certain. Currently in the US, there’s the possibility (some are arguing more probable) that this election could bring in not only socialist/communist inspired results, but more importantly, give those same cohorts far more political control via moderates looking to ride the power vacuum.

If this happens, what you or myself (regarding anything and everything) will be subject to is not just a changing landscape to navigate within, but the very real possibility of a far more dangerous one.

Need I remind any of you to watch what is currently unfolding in France?

I am of the opinion, there could be widespread disruptions here both on the streets and on the web after the results. Just how much and in which direction is anyone’s guess. Throw in the possibility of the “markets” following a similar path with a Fed meeting, another big earnings reporting week, Iran and more, and you have the ingredients for an anything is possible probability that leans far more to the far worse scenarios than anyone considers possible.

So, with that all said, I think it’s only prudent to wait until after to see what the results are, what happens as a result, then decide what path I’m going to pursue for the show.

The consequences of this election will and does carry that much influence.

Usually an election has things contained within that are just par for the course and need to be worked through. i.e., tax hikes, tax lowering, changes in a law et cetera. This one is far different.

If there is a sweep of both the House and Senate that ushers in this socialist/communist ideology and enables it to impose and dictate its will via a now sycophantic party that believes it can “use them” to gain even more power?

We’re all in for a lot of trouble regarding individual agency, nevermind that of a business one.

Therefore, I believe, the most prudent thing to do is a three step process.

First: Vote.

Second: Wait to see what the results are.

Third: Interpret, then act accordingly.

Consider this temporary pause in the show as me following my own advice.

It’s that important.
