Going On The Record Update - mytrbroadcast.com

Once again, as I was right in the middle of writing my thoughts (i.e., ~1:30pm ET, today) the President decided to launch a counter revision to his initial tariff decision on Friday afternoon. So far, this Sunday, we’ve had V.P. Vance setting up the tamp down on the early morning news shows and by the afternoon – we have the big one (i.e., Don’t worry, Me & Xi are still pals) directly from Mr. Trump.

What has all this meant? Easy – “BTFD Baby, is back!” and so far that’s exactly what is transpiring. Where it goes is anyone’s guess. However, what this has done to my thoughts on exactly how I was originally laying out my arguments has since been jettisoned, again. Not for the reasons most may first infer, but rather, for the more finer details that need to be addressed as to the original why.

I’ve been doing this long enough (and also why I stopped doing it) to know trying to bring any sanity of argument into the discussion when all the negative implications have been seemingly wiped off the table as fast as the original panic was unleashed, is really a fool’s errand. Even to those of you that are truly interested in my thoughts – you’ll just discount them into the ether as “more noise.” Trust me, I get it. That’s why I’m not going to do it the way I have for so long. So I won’t.

But with that said…

There are things to discuss and there is certainly stuff to announce about the website, show and more. I believe in the aftermath of what has transpired, and continues to unfold over the last 48 hours, I’m just going to sit back on my hands and wait to see how all this plays out over the coming week. This is a pivotal time for these “markets,” especially with them beginning the earnings season in earnest.

As always, we’ll see. But do be on the lookout for news regarding the site and more, regardless of what happens in these “markets.”
