Big Picture Overview - mytrbroadcast.com

The chart below is of the S&P 500™ as of the close on Tuesday via four hour intervals. It’s the same one I’ve been using and updating since 2022.

When I first began using it there was nothing to the right of that red diagonal line (e.g., Fed’s…). Those “projection” boxes you see were hanging in free space and people (especially the mainstream business/financial media) said I was “nuts!” The resulting price action of “nuts” speaks for itself.

I changed the intervals slightly, they’re not particularly consequential other than for my own granular use. However, in regards to all the colored things you see there, you need not try to figure them out if you’re not astute to technical analysis, for it’s really meaningless if you aren’t. What is meaningful is that they are too me and what they possibly portend is of consequence.

As you can see there is a black box with the words “you are here.” The reason why I’m pointing this out is for this reasoning that I’ve noted many times over the years, which is this…

“If its the machines that are in control – than you better start finding out how to think like a machine.”

The following is my response to this. I look at different things, for different relationships and patterns even most technically astute never do. i.e., “If it’s not in the book – I don’t look!” type of thinking. That works a lot of the times, but not all. And just sometimes it’s the worst thing to do, for that’s exactly when out-of-the-blue things make themselves present.

We may be in one of those times – again. So with that all said. To wit:

That “box” just so happens to coincide with both time, price and other mathematical equations and relationships that if you were a machine – they may be something that flips a switch – both up as well as down. Or, could be nothing more than an exercise in futility, once again, and mean nothing. But there it is, so why? Simple…

For if it does resolve into a “flip of the switch” moment, via my eye and analysis, the logical progression is voiced via that big red arrow. I think if that resulted it would be a big deal, yes?

Will it? Again, no one knows. And if anyone tells you they do? Don’t just walk away, but run and fast.

Just note that the prior “Diamond” pattern I was following before did precisely what I expected in the near term, but has since resolved itself and is no longer meaningful.

For what it’s worth, and for those that want to know – this is what I’m now watching almost to the exclusion of all else.
